Livingston Animal Hospital will be a part of the PetValu Walk for Dog Guides for the third year in a row!
We invite you and your dog to join Team Livingston on Sunday May 28, 2016 beginning at 12:00 (registration) with the walk starting at 1:00 pm at Grimsby Square Plaza. If you do not have a dog you can still join us on the walk for this worthy cause! During the registration time, we will be offering nail trims for $10 and microchipping for $20 with proceeds being donated to the Dog Guides.

Since 1985, the Walk for Dog guides has raised over 13 Million dollars to aid in the training of service dogs. Last year, Grimsby raised $26,306 placing us within the top 5 for all of Canada and we are hoping to do it again! These dogs go through 2 years of intensive training which can cost up to  $25,000 depending on what they are training for. They enhance individual’s lives by allowing more independence, safety and mobility  as vision assists, hearing ears, seizure responders, autism assistants, diabetic alert dogs, and service dogs.
