Ciao! My Name is Simona and I joined the Livingston team in April 2022. Before that I was an animal control officer/ animal care technician at the local humane society. I graduated from Mohawk College in 2018 where I studied Police Foundations.
I have spent my whole life around animals and spent almost my entire working life in jobs that deal with animals in one way or another. Since I was younger, I have always been very good with connecting with animals. When I was at my high-school Coop at the Hamilton/Burlington SPCA I was assisting a photographer that was taking photos of the adoptable animals. The photographer commented on how I had a way with the animals and how they looked up to me with trust. Growing up I was fortunate to have dogs, cats, fish, and guinea pigs. I currently have three dog’s named Dino 14 (Pug/ Boston Terrier), Remy 3 (French Bulldog) and Siena 3 (French Bulldog). My special veterinary interests include animal welfare issues and brachycephalic breeds.
In my spare time I love travelling, camping, everything disney, visiting family in Italy and spending time with my family, boyfriend and fur babies.
