Hello there! My name is Sylvester. I was part of a feral colony rescued from the coke ovens in Hamilton. I have been living with my foster family whom has been teaching me to be a regular cat and they think I am ready to find my forever home!

I love my foster siblings; we cuddle and play all the time so I need to be with a family that has other cats. I also really like my pet parents, who I will greet at the door when they come home however; it… takes me a bit to show my charming personality to new people! Some of my favorite things include; weaving between your legs while dancing (aka kneading), chasing the red dot, sleeping beside you and being pet. My foster mom says that if I am not talking to her then I sound like a purry motor boat all the time! I’m weary of loud sounds or fast movement. I would do best in a home with no children.

Sylvester has been neutered, microchipped, dewormed as well as flea treated with Revolution and Milbemax, has had his first set of vaccines (Leukemia, FVRCCP, and Rabies) and has been tested for FIV/Felv. Sylvester is NEGATIVE for Leukemia and FIV. He is just under 1 year old. Please contact Livingston Animal Hospital if you would like to meet Sylvester or have any questions regarding him.
